- Aloe Vera – -whether it’s topically or internally because it is generally safe to use. It is good for the skin and does’nt need any processing to do before using. The jelly-like clear and colorless pulp can be applied directly on the skin for minor cuts and burns. It can also dry other skin problems like eczema, or other skin conditions.
- Peppermint – is a natural hybrid of spearmint and watermint. It is use for bloating and indigestion by just massaging the oil on the upper part of the stomach. It can be use for headaches, just apply a peppermint oil on the temples and forehead. Peppermint is widely used in dental products, mouth fresheners, and lip balms.
- Thyme – is a powerful antiseptic, and can be use as a gargle for mouthsores or to freshen breath. The oil of thyme have been used to treat some symptoms like diarrhea, stomach ache, arhtritis and sorethroat.
- Rosemary – is known for its culinary and medicinal uses. The carnosic acid in this herb has been shown to prevent damage.
- Chamomile – you can make a tea from fresh flower heads or you can dry them to use later on. Take a handful of flower heads and pour boiling water, steep for about 15 minutes and drain. Chamomile tea has a soothing and relaxing effect, and is good to drink when feeling anxious.
- Lavender – its oil has antiseptic and anti-inflammatory properties. I can also be used to treat other skin problems like acne, and skin burns.
- Chives – may help prevent cancer and improve sleep, muscle movement and memory. Chives come from the family of garlic, scallions and onions. They are low in calories but high in nutrients that are beneficial to us.
- Parsley – is often used to add on meals to enhance the flavor of a dish, however, it has a lot of health benefits especially to our bones and the immune system.
- Basil – is said to have an anti-aging effect as well as, anti-bacterial benefits. It is well known for its uses in a lot of Italian cuisine.
